It Started with a Waxing Strip and a Realization...
I was elbow-deep in aesthetics school training when I had a very clear thought:
“I love skincare. I hate waxing.
And I definitely need a different path.”
So I pivoted.
I leaned into what lit me up.
The science of skin, the power of great products, and the connection you
build when someone trusts you with their face, their confidence,
and their self-care.
That shift led me to a beauty career that has spanned over 25 years.
I started in the corporate office of a major beauty brand deep in customer service, learning how skincare products are dreamed up, developed, and delivered to shelves.
That early seat at the table gave me a rare, full-circle view of the beauty industry. Insights on what sells, what stalls, and what gets swept under the rug when strategy doesn’t match the brilliance of the product.
I’ve seen firsthand how product launches happen, how promotions get planned, and what it actually takes to sell out a skincare/beauty line.
And the realities of how hard it is to keep that momentum going.
